I had a pleasant stay at this resort, enjoying clean and comfortable rooms with a great view of the beach. The dining options were varied, particularly with the Italian cuisine. However, the gym could use some improvements, and it was annoying that the Wi-Fi comes at an extra cost. Overall, good value for money in a lovely setting.
I had a mixed experience at this resort. The gardens and pool area were beautiful, creating a lovely atmosphere. However, my room suffered from cleanliness issues and a persistent ant problem, which was quite disappointing. The service was friendly overall, but the dining options lacked variety and the gym was unexpectedly closed during my stay. It's a great location by the beach, but the room issues definitely detracted from the experience.
The resort is nestled in a lush tropical environment, offering clean and spacious bungalows that have a charming rustic feel. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and helpful, making the stay enjoyable. However, the dining options were limited, focusing heavily on Italian cuisine with little variety. Additionally, the beach experience was marred by persistent vendors trying to sell products, which detracted from the overall relaxation.
I recently spent seven nights at the VOI Kiwengwa Resort, and while the rooms were spacious and the staff was welcoming, I was quite disappointed with the beach experience and the dining options. The constant approach from vendors was frustrating, and the food lacked variety, especially for someone looking for more local dishes. Overall, it felt like the resort mainly caters to Italian guests, which made me feel a bit left out during activities.
This resort in Zanzibar was a solid choice for our getaway. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and daily housekeeping kept everything fresh. The dining options were plentiful, but I would have loved to see more local dishes featured. The beach was stunning and never felt crowded, making for a very pleasant stay. However, I did find the lack of authentic local cuisine a bit disappointing.
